The author has tried to convey a message through this book, and I’m sure most of his readers will get it; the book is worth reading for the attempt as well as the way in which he has conveyed the message

The identity of invaders is not explained in the start for some very obvious reasons which can annoy a few readers just a little bit but then the way it comes together is really nice.

Fear Nothing

The story opens with the death of protagonist’s father whose last words are “fear nothing.” The lead then figures out that there is a conspiracy going on in the old military base after which he is determined to unravel whatever is going on in there.

Read it For:
The science fiction adventure in the book will provide you an adrenaline rush, and you will want more (GOOD NEWS- it is a three book series)
Don't Read it For:
I won’t suggest that you don’t read this book because it is really amazing however the mysterious legacy of the protagonist’s mother which somehow has saved him is not revealed, and some readers can get impatient over that.
What makes this book stand out?:
Considered as one of the Dean Koontz best books, it has really nice descriptions and creativity.

Seize the Night

The second book after Fear Nothing, the book starts where it ended in the first part (obviously); well this time kids in the town are missing and the author sets out to find them with his group. The adventure from there is really nice and you should read it.

Read it For:
The concept of fear nothing has lived in the second part as well which is really nice and anyone who likes thrill should read it.
Don't Read it For:
The book has just one element which is not explained here; the way they are able to alter the past at the end is, and it is something many won’t be able to get their head around at first.
What makes this book stand out?:
The book is really interesting; I’m sure you know that by now, so just read it not all writers are able to keep the spirit of the first book alive in the second part.

Night Chills

The story starts with the protagonist going on vacation with his kids. The place is something they didn’t expect it to be; there are some weird things going on. It is later revealed that it is a testing ground for some illegal experimentation and then it’s all about stopping whatever the experiment is.

Read it For:
Another interesting and awesome Dean Koontz book with an element of thrill and science fiction combined; must read for anyone who likes that kind of theme.
Don't Read it For:
The book is meticulously written by the author however some can feel that the theme is repetitive, which in my point of view should not be the case.
What makes this book stand out?:
The concept involved this time for the experimentation is nice; it is something you don’t see every day in science fiction.

Phantoms

The story starts with the protagonist visiting her hometown where she finds that there is no one there; everyone’s either missing or dead. The lead starts exploring and finds something unusual, they manage to get the help of military biological unit, and after some investigation, they figure out that it is the work of an ancient enemy. The whole story then revolves around the attempt to finish the enemy.

Read it For:
The method devised for defeating the enemy is something which exists for real so it will not only give you a good reading experience but also educate about some interesting stuff.
Don't Read it For:
The science in this book is really amazing, which can be good or bad depending on your taste.
What makes this book stand out?:
The concept of shared existence on this planet, the presentation, and the plot is really nice.

Dragon Tears

The book is about Harry who likes to live an ordered life while his partner in work Connie lives just the opposite way. The situation, after some interesting set of events, gets worse and continues in the same direction for Harry.

Read it For:
The way author has intervened some unrelated events at first in the book is something one can learn and love.
Don't Read it For:
The reason why he is the center of all the mishappening is not clearly stated, still a good read.
What makes this book stand out?:
The imagination shown by the author in another amazing thriller is amazing.

Ticktock

The story is about Tommy Phan, who is an American Vietnamese, one day he finds a weird doll at his doorstep with a note on it, which looks like a threat to him. The events that follow are not good for Tommy; he is now running with a girl to save his life and figure out what the note means. Things do go back to normal but how you should read the book to find out.

Read it For:
The book has a nice blend of horror and fun, really worth reading
Don't Read it For:
The source of abilities possessed by the girl is not mentioned clearly, so some can feel a bit disappointed; the book overall is very nice.
What makes this book stand out?:
The quality author has shown in presenting something which is not his forte is really rare and it surely makes it a book you must read.

Watchers

This is a sci-fi story where from a top laboratory approved by the government comes down two different genetically evolved life forms. One is a brilliant dog and another one is a monster who is of a violent nature and both are loosely roaming into the society

Unputdownable, deeply sketched character which surprisingly moves along the story
Don't Read it For:
Unreal read that doesn’t cut down the fantasy of the reader

This is a must-read for the dog lovers and is a suspenseful page-turner and creates tension among the thrill seekers

Dark Rivers of Heart

Spencer Grant the protagonist has no idea why he was attracted to the bar which had red doors. He just predicted that it would be a normal day where he will sip a beer or two and talk to some random strangers but to his shock he had a narrow escape and met the Swat team
