Mercy Thompson is back and with more significant problems. The book shows that tensions are budding between the fae and the humans. The children get the worst out this situation. Out of desperation to protect a child, Mercy, Adam, and their pack go against the most powerful werewolf to protect a little boy.

The book is sharply written, the matter is excellent as well.

The writing of the book seems forced and tedious.

The book is still written with the same story in mind and does not depart too much from the real story.

With the alliance of the others with Cassandra Sangue, things have settled down. The humans, who were being taken advantage of by their kind, finally live happily. However, a group of radical humans seeks to usurp these lands and disrupt the happy environment.

The fantasy world has not changed tracks, and her character development is right on point!
Don't Read it For:
This book may seem to be annoying for some, as the pace of the book has changed from the first three books of the series.

The book is the second installment of the series. The book follows Nevada and her unique set of skills. She can tell when a person is lying and this ability has kept her family’s business flourishing. However, her case throws her against a dangerous family and she finds a love interest during this time.

Read it For:
If you’re looking for magic and romance and thrill and something related to detectives, this book will not fail to impress you. This is one of the best book recommendations.
Don't Read it For:
The book is slow, and the development is quite childish.

This book is a page-turner and quick.

Silence Fallen

The book is another installment of the Mercy Thompson series. The shape-shifting werewolf is attacked and almost abducted in her home territory. Trying to find a way to contact her pack, she will need to know who the enemies are and who aren’t.

In this book, Mercy rescues herself, which is a huge plus point. The incidents building that up makes for one of the top books reads in 2016.

The book begins with Mercy being abducted yet again, the abduction scene is becoming a little too much, doesn’t give room for much appreciation.

Apart from the main story in the book, the story overall seems to drag out.

Blood Vow

Dina runs a nice bed and breakfast. However unusual guest at her workplace makes it a little interesting. A werewolf and a vampire appear to make things interesting, or worse?

The story is quite cliché and gives the reader the feeling of, “been there, read this.”

The impressive succession of events is what keeps the reader glued to this book.

The Chosen

The book begins with the fate of Xcor. He is convicted of treason against the king, and he accepts his fate. However, his only regret is Layla, his chosen one. The book follows in the succession of events after a huge revelation made by Xcor which will destroy everything.

Read it For:
This book keeps things interesting by quickly changing pace.
Don't Read it For:
The book does well on the war front, but the romance part of the book is horribly done and rushed.
What makes this book stand out?:
The book gives insight into the war in the series.
