Neil Gaiman is an English writer, who writes short-stories, comics and graphic books. He is immensely talented and works in many other areas. The Graveyard Book and The Sandman earned him popularity. He has written many books, but some of them have made it to the list of top 10 books by Neil Gaiman.

 

The Graveyard Book

One of the Neil Gaiman best sellers, this book is the story of the life of a young boy, who wanders into the graveyard after losing his parents. He is raised and educated by the ghosts and known to them as Bod. The boy would be completely normal only if he wasn’t raised by the ghosts of the graveyard. His guardian is a mysterious being, who neither belongs to the living world nor the dead world.

Read it For:
The book is an impressive book, filled with warmth and lovely talks among the characters. And of course, there is an adventure in wait for them.
Don't Read it For:
The book may seem as though it has been written for kids only, but adults can enjoy the book too!

The book is warm and nicely done.

American Gods

Now a massive series, this story is about a man who was locked up in jail. He wanted nothing more than to go back to his wife, Laura and start a new life. Unafraid of what tomorrow might bring, he wanted to go back to his wife. But days before his release, his best friend and his wife are killed in a freak accident. Torn and heart-broken the man does not know what to do, but he is given a chance at life once more.

Read it For:
The book is just as good as the T.V series. Action filled and eventful, you won’t know what is coming next.
Don't Read it For:
The book is filled with violence and impressive adventures, but it could be difficult for some people to stomach the story.

This book is an impressive book, a must read!

Stardust

In the town of Wall, named after the tall and sturdy walls surrounding the city, a young boy falls in love with a young maiden. To win her hand for marriage, the boy is given a task of finding a star. To get the star, the boy must go beyond the conformities of the walls and find his prize in a dangerous and uncharted region.

Read it For:
The book is an impressive work, what starts as a slow and warm story, quickly turns into an extraordinary journey.
Don't Read it For:
The book is worth anyone’s time. No problems!

The book is nothing short of a warm and nicely done story. The story will make you fall in love with the writer’s works. This book rightly deserves a place among the Neil Gaiman popular novels.

Game of Thrones and Marvel comics has introduced us to the best Norse Gods and powers of Gods. These works have also inspired the writer to go to the actual point of beginning of these tales.

Read it For:
The writer brings you the true tales and the authentic details of the Gods.
