Khaled Hosseini is an Afghan-based novelist born in 1965 who has authored very interesting novels and has gained a huge fan base globally for his novels. He was graduated from anta Clara University and earned a Medical degree. He has become a full-time writer after the success of his debut novel. The Kite Runner has helped him earn a huge name in the market. Moreover, this novel was sold in around 70 countries and was nominated for the best seller books award. Hosseini and his family are living in Paris when the Russian attack of Afghanistan is organized in 1980, so rather than coming back to Kabul, they are given political asylum and go to San Jose. He has a three-year stay in internal medicine at Kedar-Sinai Medical Center and then works as an intern for three years in Los Angeles.

Hossein is currently resting at an open end with the practice of medicine, which is to focus on his writings. In addition to writing novels, he has expressed interest in writing a script, a stage play, and more short stories.
