Louis Cha Leung-yung, popularly known by his pen name Jin Yong needs no introduction as he is the only alive best selling Chinese author. The main part of his works are the Wuxia novels which features the martial art forms popular in China.

He co-founded a daily newspaper and became the first editor in chief of Ming Pao.

Not only in Chinese his work is translated into many languages and adapted to many films, video games, and television series. The development of patriotism, patriotic heroism is reflected by his stories; as a result, he is awarded as one of the stands of three legs of the tripod of Wuxia.

Legend of the Condor Heroes

This is the first in series of condor trilogy and the title is given is not that relevant as it refers to the condors that never belong to China. The story describes the friendship of two people who considered themselves as the hero and fought together. The first part of the novel is covered up by the incidences took place between these two.

This story is all about Li Wenxiu a young Han Chinese girl who escaped to save her life. Being a wuxia novel this plot also deal with flavors of the love life of Li Wenxiu who is separated from her lover. The narration of the story is quite different from the other.
