Top 10 Ghost Books of 2016

Most of the ghost books often devolve into gore and blood with little to back it up with and of course with the logic that often goes awry (though using logic with ghosts is as about as surreal as it can get). But these books showcased here, all fit in this genre and stand out on various accounts, from the narrative style employed to the detailed research which makes the book all the more enthralling to read. And as far as ghost stories go, they have always been around since time immemorial and the fact that we still fear the dark and the unseen only underscores the same.

Did you know that most of the legends associated with All Hallows Eve or Halloween are actually based on ancient pagan rituals of Samhain? What may seem a little more troubling to some is that the dead are supposed to get there due to blood and gore which is why the ancient pagans sacrificed young children to satiate the spirits. So if you thought that your ancestors did not have any horror stories to barter around the fireplace, you may want to do a rethink.
