Top 10 Fairies Books of 2016

When it comes to fairy tales, you can almost count on dark overtones and even a glimpse of a stark and bleak world though imbued with magic. This seems to be the central theme in most of the fairies books to come out last year. A few even featured a dystopian view coupled with magical creatures and that’s just the start. If you thought that all fairy tales would be about a kind and loving fairy godmother, then you obviously have not read some of last year’s releases which have all been featured here or rather the top rated ones; these books stand out from the rest for all the right reasons stemming from a creative take on old fairy tales to new twists that are designed to keep you reading.

As fairy tales, which were just a way to keep children in line as well as entertained, evolve so have the central theme. While earlier one it used to be about good vs evil, the current fairy tales borders more on the grey areas as each character seems flawed which makes the story all the more interesting to read. Do check out the list posted below for some interesting books to read
