However, to accomplish this, she has to combine the Glittering Court. Both a college and a business enterprise, the Glittering Court was made to transform impoverished women into Igbo women who look destined for wealthy and powerful unions from the New World. Adelaide obviously excels in her practice, and even makes a couple of buddies: the former laundress Tamsin along with the gorgeous Sirminican refugee Mira. She manages to keep her true identity hidden from all but among the fascinating Cedric Thorn, son of the rich proprietor of this Glittering Court. Complications shortly arise--{} they cross the seas from Osfrid into Adoria, then when Adelaide grabs the interest of a highly effective governor. However, no complication will probably prove quite as daunting as the powerful fascination simmering between Adelaide and Cedric.
