The story starts with the protagonist going on vacation with his kids. The place is something they didn’t expect it to be; there are some weird things going on. It is later revealed that it is a testing ground for some illegal experimentation and then it’s all about stopping whatever the experiment is.
What makes this book stand out?
The concept involved this time for the experimentation is nice; it is something you don’t see every day in science fiction.
Read it for
Another interesting and awesome Dean Koontz book with an element of thrill and science fiction combined; must read for anyone who likes that kind of theme.
Don't read it for
The book is meticulously written by the author however some can feel that the theme is repetitive, which in my point of view should not be the case.
